This is was from the new Paper Jackets album where the give those sweet Califonria pop vibes. They brought this music video to Shipyyard to color grade with freeing yet typical instructions to: make it look great. So our Sr colorist Mickey decided to push a really beautiful warm look while emphasizing those cool tones on the low end. When a music video is well shot, it really let’s our colorist go wild and push every image in the direction the client wants. This was no exception with the help of their DP providing us with amazing images to color grade exactly how the band wanted.
